Machine learning routing for parking lots
Challenge
According to an analysis by INRIX in the USA, drivers spend 17 hours a year looking for parking spaces. This is not only a waste of time and stress, but also leads to higher emissions in cities.
Ideas
Results
We have developed an end-to-end solution for drivers, i.e. A routing application for the vehicle's navigation system. This parking lot routing uses a new ML-based algorithm that we developed. It reduces the time for motorists to find a parking space by taking into account parking probabilities, walking time from parking space to destination, and other attributes.
